What we collect

When you fill out a form on this site, we collect what you choose to give us: your name, phone number, email address (if you add it), the address or city of the job, the details you pick or type about the work, and whether you checked the box agreeing to calls and texts. We also record the page you came from and any campaign tags in the link. Our hosting provider records standard technical data such as IP address and browser type, and we use Cloudflare Web Analytics, which counts visits without cookies.

How we use it

We use your information to respond to your repair request: to call or text you back, schedule the work, and follow up. We do not use it for anything unrelated to your request.

How we share it

Fix It Wisconsin connects homeowners with local contractors. When you send a request, we share it (your name, phone, email if given, address or ZIP, and the details of the job) with the local contractor we match to your job so they can contact you about it. Basement waterproofing and concrete requests go to our own crew. Contractors may pay us for the requests we send them. We do not share your information with advertisers or data brokers.

We also share information with service providers that run this website and our forms (for example hosting and database providers), and when the law requires it.

Text messages

If you check the consent box on our form, we may call or text you about your repair request, including by automated technology and AI-generated or prerecorded voice calls and texts. Mobile information and text-message consent are not sold or shared with third parties or affiliates for their marketing or promotional purposes. Your request goes only to the contractor matched to your job, for that job.

How long we keep it

We keep request records only as long as we need them to serve you and keep basic business records. You can ask us to see, correct or delete your information at any time.

Children

This site is not meant for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information.

Changes

If we change this policy, we will post the new version here with a new date.
